About/Story
My event management experience dates back to 1999 when I co-organised a mountain bike race in the Australian Outback. I turned my passion for events into a profession in my home country of Austria, from where I created, organised and delivered large-scale events for clients in Europe, eventually becoming a Regional Manager in Doha, Qatar.
I had traveled extensively throughout South East Asia before moving to Bangkok in 2016. From 2016 to 2019 I worked with Buffalo Tours (Discova), Abercrombie & Kent and Asian Trails. As MICE Manager for Southeast Asia, my responsibility reached from creating compelling proposals, product development and group handling on the ground to assure operational excellence. I have also led several tours in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
In 2021 I moved to Melbourne working repeatedly as a freelancer for major sports events such as Australian Open, Formula 1, MotoGP and FIFA in different roles. Starting from Premium Experience Staffing Coordinator at the Australian Open to Partnerships and Hospitality Assistant for the Paddock Club at Formula 1 and MotoGP to Venue Manager for the FIFI Fan Festival for the Women’s World Cup.
